Summary/Objective
The Mortgage Sales Efficiency Specialist is responsible for systems onboarding new mortgage sales staff and training sales staff on regulation updates, while also focusing on systems, technology, and compliance. This self-starter role identifies and recommends process improvements to enhance efficiency and member experience through technology solutions, seeking improvements that impact productivity, volume goals, and overall performance. They provide expert knowledge on TRID guidelines and underwriting standards, while partnering with the mortgage operations and internal audit teams to resolve audit findings and assist with exam preparations. Additionally, the role handles system escalations, compliance issues, various administrative support tasks, and provide PTO coverage for Loan Officer Assistants as needed.
Essential Functions
- Onboard and train new Mortgage Sales Team members on systems and processes necessary to assist members with obtaining a mortgage, while providing support with integration into the Elevations culture.
- Support the management of Loan Officers production pipeline from application to disclosure, including but not limited to interacting with all internal and external parties to the mortgage in a collaborative and professional manner, proactively managing loan deadlines, submitting appraisal reconsiderations, rapid rescores, Loan Committee submissions, and pipeline calls.
- Partner with the Learning and Development Team regarding any training needs while advocating the best practices within the Mortgage Sales Team.
- Provide expert level knowledge of TRID for the entire Mortgage Team regarding timing, guidelines and daily review of TRID timing issues assisting with change of circumstance disclosures to reduce or eliminate costs to cure.
- Serve as an expert on Elevations mortgage sales systems, providing support to the Mortgage Team by handling system escalations, online account openings, compliance stops and other issues and provide ongoing training of new regulations, guidelines, system enhancements and procedures.
- Partner with IT to provide enhancements, efficiencies and support testing of current and new systems and platforms, primarily but not limited to Microsoft 365.
- Partner with Elevations internal audit team to assist with exam prep for all audits, resolve pre-fund audit findings, provide training to resolve post-closing trends, and assist in creating action plans for executive summary reports.
- Maintain the Loan Product Matrix while providing support for the Consumer Product Matrix.
- Perform a variety of administrative support tasks including but not limited to, sales lead distribution, processing invoices, granting access to systems for new Mortgage Sales Team members, Mortgage Sales SharePoint and huddle communication.
- Provide PTO coverage for Loan Officer Assistants as needed.

- 4+ years of experience in Mortgage with a focus on origination
- Current knowledge of FHFA underwriting guidelines and TRID compliance
- A strong, current working knowledge of all the components of Microsoft 365

- Current experience with FHA and VA underwriting guidelines
- Experience with various Colorado Down Payment Assistance programs

Compensation Information:
The person hired into this position will likely earn between $70,652 and $88,204, plus annual bonus.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
