Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in marketing, ideally within asset management, private markets, or financial services.
  • Experience owning end-to-end, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation and positioning, content and campaign integration, and marketing performance measurement.
  • Experience working across digital and offline channels, cross-functional teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear messaging, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and balance strategic thinking with execution.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Own the planning and execution of full-funnel marketing campaigns across client and prospect communications, internal communications, and digital and content distribution.
  • Translate business priorities into cohesive, multi-channel campaign strategies.
  • Support marketing infrastructure and campaign mapping to improve scalability and efficiency.
  • Define and evolve platform, fund, and audience segmentation.
  • Develop clear, differentiated messaging and positioning frameworks.
  • Ensure consistency of narrative across campaigns, channels, and materials.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of brand architecture and platform narrative.
  • Partner with public relations to align internal messaging and external storytelling.
  • Help shape how the platform is positioned in a competitive and evolving market.
  • Manage relationships with design agencies and external partners.
  • Provide direction, feedback, and quality control to ensure output meets brand and strategic standards.
  • Track campaign and fund-level performance and analyze engagement across channels with analytics partners.
  • Translate performance insights into actionable recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends.
  • Synthesize market and competitive insights to inform messaging, campaign strategy, and product positioning.
  • Work closely with global marketing, investment teams, product, editorial/content, events, design, and public relations.
  • Integrate content into campaigns, align content planning with campaign priorities, and ensure consistent distribution across channels in collaboration with the Editorial lead.

Clay raises funding at $7B valuation, more than doubling in a year

Clay, a New York-based startup selling AI tools for sales and marketing teams, has agreed to a new funding round led by Wellington Management at a $7 billion pre-money valuation, Axios reported on 31 August. The round's exact size has not been disclosed, and it is unclear whether it has fully closed. The valuation marks Clay's third jump in about a year, up from $3.1 billion in August 2025 and $5 billion in a January 2026 employee tender offer led by DST Global. The company was founded in 2017 by Kareem Amin and Nicolae Rusan. Clay markets itself as a go-to-market platform that pulls data from over 150 external sources and uses AI agents to research prospects and personalise outbound sales messages. Its customers reportedly include OpenAI, Anthropic, and Canva.

Avere Therapeutics raises $500M to advance once-weekly oral IL-23 therapy AVR-001

Avere Therapeutics announced a $500 million private placement to advance AVR-001, its once-weekly oral IL-23 receptor antagonist for inflammatory diseases. Leading healthcare investors including Venrock Healthcare Capital Partners, General Atlantic, Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing, and Wellington Management participated in the funding round. Combined with a previously announced $320 million concurrent private investment, the proceeds will fully fund Avere's operations through 2029. The financing will close alongside Avere's merger with NextCure, expected in the second half of 2026.
