Legend Biotech is seeking Associate Director, Global Compensation as part of the Human Resources team based in Somerset, New Jersey.
Role Overview
The Global Compensation, Associate Director will support the Head of Global Total Rewards in designing, implementing, and managing the company’s global compensation programs and processes. This role will ensure that compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Compensation Strategy:
o Develop and implement global compensation strategies in alignment with the company’s Total Rewards philosophy.
o Ensure compensation programs support the attraction, retention, and motivation of top talent.
- Job Structure Design and Maintenance:
o Design and maintain job structures, including job descriptions, job families, and career paths.
o Ensure job structures are aligned with organizational goals and compensation strategies.
- Program Management:
o Oversee the administration of global compensation programs, including salary structures, short-term incentive plans, and equity programs.
o Manage the annual compensation review process, including budgeting, planning, and execution.
- Market Analysis:
o Conduct regular market analyses to ensure competitive positioning of compensation programs.
o Benchmark compensation practices against industry standards and make recommendations for adjustments.
- Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation.
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global compensation trends and regulatory changes.
- Collaboration:
o Work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to provide compensation guidance and support.
o Develop and deliver training and communication materials to educate managers and employees on compensation programs.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
o Analyze compensation data to identify trends and insights.
o Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership and the Compensation Committee.
- Team Management:
o Supervise and mentor 1-2 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and performance.
- Ad-hoc projects:
o Lead special or ad-hoc projects such as pay transparency, pay equity analysis or M&A activities.
