- 2+ years of experience in helpdesk position assisting end-users with IT troubleshooting and problem solving in a team setting
- Training and experience in an IT support environment
- General understanding of Atlassian Suite, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365
- Proven experience in troubleshooting
- Foundational knowledge of networking principles
- Exposure to compliance and security standards; basic knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, NIST 800-53, or similar information security standards
- Both Microsoft Windows and Linux experience strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field of study, or equivalent
- IT Support Specialist will troubleshoot, configure, deploy, and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, business applications, and other IT assets
- Performs diverse technical assistance, documents findings, and performs software maintenance duties
- Maintains, updates, and audits record-keeping systems (EX: Unleashed); documents projects, writes, and maintains user instructions
- Oversees, maintains, and inputs applicable records such as, but not limited to, network users, security, and tracking inventory levels of equipment and materials
- Performs advanced technological systems support, maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systems; troubleshoots and resolves complex system hardware, software, and network failures and conflicts
- Participates in and/or leads the review, evaluation, and recommendation of solutions relating to hardware and software acquisitions and/or network updates
- Participates in and/or leads research and development initiatives and provides assistance in the implementation of new technologies
- Oversees and performs the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, networks, workstations, and/or other related equipment and devices
- Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to technology, equipment, applicable laws, regulations, standards, and/or systems
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Proficient with various operating systems (client and server) Windows 10, macOS, Microsoft Server 2012, and above
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of standard networking protocols, computing operating systems, & LAN/WAN topology
- Must be able to manage multiple jobs and/or processes concurrently
- 100% Hands-on Technical Customer Support
- Ability to troubleshoot Conferencing Systems
