- At least six years of development experience.
- Proven front-end development experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and related markup coding support tools.
- Experience with client-side frameworks and libraries such as Backbone.js, Marionette.js, Ember.js, Angular.js, React, and Handlebars.
- Experience developing with XML and JSON.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript design patterns.
- Experience with Java-based build tools such as Ant or Maven.
- Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
- Familiarity with content management systems, prototyping software such as Balsamiq, and production tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Photoshop.
- Familiarity with back-end languages such as Java; Java development experience is a plus.
- Experience with multimedia applications, database interactions, and data modeling tools.
- Proficient understanding of browser testing, debugging, cross-browser compatibility issues, and mitigation techniques.
- In-depth understanding of the web development process, including design, development, and deployment.
- Understanding of layout aesthetics.
- Knowledge of search engine optimization principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Must have United States citizenship or United States permanent residency.
