The wildfire burned approximately 10,708 hectares and destroyed over 60 homes among Intact customers. The insurer deployed more than 100 team members from across Canada to support the community. Intact received over 400 personal property claims and mobilised adjusters within 48 hours of evacuation orders lifting. On Side Restoration, Intact's wholly owned restoration company, has been rebuilding the destroyed homes. The integrated supply chain approach allowed Intact to coordinate assessment through final rebuild despite high demand for labour and materials.
