Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in a safety or engineering field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience required in a safety or engineering related field
  • Experience in warehouse business settings a plus
  • Possess a solid knowledge of occupational safety technical subject matter and how to apply it in real-life settings
  • Highly familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the occupational safety field

Responsibilities
  • Providing health and safety compliance auditing to the client
  • Learn the client’s audit criteria, requirements, methods and culture
  • Complete desktop work to include: reviewing site plans, completing client-designed checklists, attending team meetings as requested, and completing detailed timesheets and expense reports
  • Conduct site observations focused on identifying and assessing compliance with client-developed design requirements
  • Demonstrate professional behaviors in service to the client and their stakeholders
  • In collaboration with Apex project managers, coordinates and executes safety projects within set organizational procedures and standards
  • In close routine collaboration with the customer, designs, implements and executes an agreed-to service plan. Works with numerous internal and external stakeholders in the interest of achieving desired overall project velocity
  • Provides input to project managers, client relationship managers, or business development staff on status of the project
