Role: HR Operations - Associate Director

Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC (“KBRA”), a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organization (“NRSRO”) is seeking a dynamic HR Operations Specialist who will support benefits, compensation, HRIS implementation, and process improvement. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, highly motivated, keen on collaboration and has a strong work ethic. This position will be based out of our New York office, with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week.
About the Team
Our Human Resources Department is an integral function responsible for the overall dynamic employee experience at KBRA. This role reports to the Director of Human Resources and will partner closely with all members of the Human Resources team.
Responsibilities
- Support the design of thoughtful HR processes and HR Technology solutions that focus on automation, standardization and efficiency
- Proactively identify and assist in evolving process and policy improvements to increase efficiencies and productivity in HR operational processes
- Serve as project manager for the planning and execution of benefits, compensation and performance evaluation cycles
- Support the implementation and administration of employee benefit plans, wellness programs, policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, health, life, disability and 401(k)
- Serve as HR vendor management liaison for vendors such as HRIS, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation
- Partner with internal Finance and Payroll vendor to ensure employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner, including reconciliation of payroll feeds
- Collaborate with Business and HR colleagues regarding ad-hoc reporting, workflows, and projects
- Lead employee communication sessions for Open Enrollment and New Hire Benefits Orientation, including the preparation of materials
- Assist in training content, implementations and employee communications on new HR technology
- Serve as a regular contact for staff, internal HR, insurance vendors and/or third-party administrators
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years of HR operational or project managerial work experience
- Experience with HRIS and Payroll Systems (ADP)
- Experience managing benefits administration
- Experience partnering and managing HR vendors
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
- Computer proficiency with advanced technical skill in Excel
- Financial services or related industries strongly preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities
- Actively identifies problems and opportunities for change and implements solutions where appropriate
Salary Range
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $150,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
