Responsibilities
  • Work with a team of model distribution professionals to build relationships with financial advisors in the Broker Dealer Channel within the Intermediary Wealth organization.
  • Penetrate and cultivate relationships with an assigned list of advisors through phone calls, Zoom, territory travel, and other digital methods.
  • Position the suite of model offerings competitively.
  • Educate clients and prospects on product features and benefits, primarily focusing on model portfolios and secondarily on individual SPDR exchange-traded funds.
  • Identify client needs and provide compelling solutions, market insights, investment ideas, and sales support.
  • Maintain expertise in State Street Investment Management and SPDR exchange-traded fund portfolio management, including positioning, holdings, and investment results.
  • Own and be accountable for key clients, prospects, and chief investment officers across the Intermediary Wealth organization.
  • Cultivate relationships and drive net new revenue and net new assets in model portfolios.
  • Lead and coordinate travel throughout the region with turnkey asset management platform and advisory platform partners.

Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of sales experience is preferred.
  • Strong product knowledge of model portfolios, exchange-traded funds, mutual funds, separate accounts, and related products is preferred.
  • The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team structure.
  • The candidate should demonstrate integrity, high energy, and motivation to succeed.
  • The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication and sales presentation skills.
  • The candidate should be able to learn and adapt quickly while applying creativity.
  • The candidate should be willing to travel approximately 30% of the time to client offices, events, and roadshows.

State Street names Tim Helyar as head of Asia Pacific. Helyar succeeds Lochiel Crafter, who recently retired, and reports to Stefan Gmuer, head of International. 9 September 2026 State Street Corporation today appointed Tim Helyar as head of Asia Pacific, effective immediately, supporting the company's regional growth strategy. Based in Hong Kong, Helyar (pictured) will oversee State Street's Asia Pacific business strategy, partnering with country, functional and business leaders to strengthen governance, deepen client and regulator engagement and accelerate regional growth. He succeeds Lochiel Crafter, who recently retired, and reports to Stefan Gmuer, head of International. "Tim is a proven leader with deep investment services expertise and a strong track record of delivering for clients," said Gmuer, in a statement. "His regional knowledge and collaborative leadership will help advance our growth strategy across Asia Pacific, while supporting regional clients as they seek to unlock growth, gain efficiencies and seize new opportunities." Helyar has more than 27 years of financial services experience across investment services, pension, investment and wealth management. He joined State Street in 2021 and was most recently head of Australia. Previously, he was head of fund services product development for Asia Pacific at JP Morgan. State Street Corporation has acquired a 5.49% voting stake in Inghams Group Limited, becoming a substantial shareholder effective 4 September 2026. The investment firm and its subsidiaries hold relevant interest in 20,410,450 ordinary shares. The stake is held through multiple State Street entities, including State Street Bank and Trust Company, SSGA Funds Management Inc., State Street Global Advisors Trust Company, and State Street Global Advisors Australia Limited. These interests encompass securities lending arrangements, collateral securities, and investment management authority. State Street filed Form 603 on 8 September 2026, disclosing the initial substantial holding.
