Requirements
- Ability to manage large projects and processes independently with limited supervision
- Recognized expert in applicable work area
- Ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per business and partner requirements
- A comprehensive understanding of the SMB/MSP/TSP/MSSP industry, solutions, and standard methodologies
- Ability to understand and communicate subject matter expertise surrounding Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) regulations, enforcement, and auditing
- Excellent presentation skills with partners and prospects
- 10+ years of solutions consulting / advisory experience
- Bachelor's degree and MBA or MS preferred
- Relevant technical training, project management training, and/or security certification
- Preferred: MBA or MS in related field
Responsibilities
- Establishes operational plans for strategic business development activities
- Develops and implements new processes, standards, and/or operational plans that will have an impact on the achievement of functional results
- Provides cross-functional support with a high attention to detail
- May require communication with ConnectWise leadership
- Supports ConnectWise marketing and messaging across our partner community activities (i.e., IT Nation events, user groups, tradeshows, and roadshows)
- Maintains a broad knowledge and understanding of the active cyberthreat landscape, specific to the MSP and SMB markets
- Identifies partner needs, conducts market research, monitors market trends, and observes the competitive landscape to better advise partners and to assist with Sales opportunities
- Works cross-functionally to gather and understand the business & technology needs of partner organizations, stakeholders, and sponsors within the ConnectWise Partner Program and across the ConnectWise Sales, Revenue, Marketing and Services teams
- Prepares and delivers thoughtful, insightful, and professional presentations with partners, clients, prospects, and ConnectWise stakeholders
- Curates a comprehensive and deep understanding of cybersecurity market trends, technologies, and standards to better advise partners and to assist with sales
