Role:
We are looking for a highly organized Events Associate/Manager to join a growing team of marketing and communications professionals in the Industry Engagement function. The Industry Engagement team is dedicated to positioning CyberCube as the preeminent authority on cyber risk data and analytics in the insurance sector. Our functional mission is to “establish CyberCube as the first point-of-call for any decision-maker on cyber peril topics”.
The Events Associate/Manager would be responsible for overseeing external sponsored events and CyberCube’s hosted events. This would include liaising with third-party producers on logistics and ensuring the smooth-running of events from the beginning of sponsorship to obtaining feedback from CyberCube participants. The Events Associate/Manager will ensure that CyberCube hosts the most professional, timely and relevant events for its key stakeholders, to help us succeed in our mission. This role would suit someone with experience in event production and event programming and speaker management who is ambitious to start taking more responsibility for driving marketing success in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Head of Content, Communications and Creative, this role will work closely with the marketing and growth teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating event production-sponsored events in the UK, US, and overseas.
- Oversee from start to finish CybeCube-hosted events, such as conferences, webinars, roundtables, panel discussions, networking gatherings, corporate dinners and entertainment, and press parties.
- Ability to organize virtual and in-person events, including hybrid conferences and networking events.
- Vision to create a longer-term brand for CyberCube-hosted events, particularly for our “Foresight” user conferences in London and New York.
Working with the marketing team, this position will:
- Contribute to the development of marketing and sales strategies around events for marketing-qualified lead generation and account-based high-impact experiences creation.
- Contribute to the implementation of an effective multi-channel marketing strategy for virtual and physical events including pre-and post-event communications and attendee management.
- Develop compelling event marketing and communication materials.
- Oversee data analysis and reporting of event performance.
This Will Include
- Content: identifying and liaising with speakers, developing topics and agenda, formatting presentations, creating profiles/templates for individuals and CyberCube. Booking and organizing photographers and videographers where relevant.
- Creative: Working with our designer to create images for booths, swag, and related conference material. Look at creative ways to promote event attendance and CyberCube events on social media.
- Webinars: Working with our third-party studio and marketing team to manage the smooth running of webinars.
- Logistics: sourcing venues and caterers for events, managing logistics on the day including set up and dismantling of exhibition stands and banners, ordering and maintaining swag supply and printed material, booking couriers, and registering attendees.
- Post-event: Uploading delegate lists into Hubspot, organizing email and survey follow-ups, chasing up blog material for post-event promotion, analyzing/measuring success of events particularly return on investment, providing debrief to Industry Engagement team.
- Budgeting: Helping set and manage the budget for event sponsorship, attendance, and CyberCube-hosted events. Identifying which events to participate in, and level of sponsorship commitment according to team goals and budget.
- Brand development: Looking at ways to scale up CyberCube-hosted events into market-leading events.

Desired Skills
- Knowledge of some or all of the following tools: Google Suite, Monday.com, HubSpot.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, insurance and/or software sector a plus.
- Able to generate original ideas and research them to create memorable experiences.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 5 years professional experience.
- High level of professional integrity and commitment to execution of deliverables.
- Fluent computer/G-Suite skills.
Work Environment
- 25% travel can be expected.
