  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
  • Chemical Engineer preferred
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated communications skills, both written and oral

Responsibilities
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of all applicable federal and state environmental regulations
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of facility processes and procedures
  • Assist in providing technical guidance to the facility to ensure compliance in all respects with existing environmental laws, regulations and permits impacting the environmental area
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employee understanding of environmental requirements
  • Assist the Plant Leadership in securing all environmental permits as necessary for the facility
  • Perform engineering tasks, such as process studies and troubleshooting, related to energy efficiency, emissions reduction, process optimization, and other areas as they arise
  • Assist in the preparation of all daily, monthly and annual reports, mandated through various State and Federal environmental laws, regulations and permits
  • Assist the Leadership with issues at other facilities as directed
  • Performs ISO Audits
  • Participate on non-environmental teams
  • Other duties as assigned
