The Business Analyst, (BA), will participate in the overall design of assigned projects. The role will requires strategic design and mapping of business requirements and solutions to system/technical requirements. The BA will also be responsible for specifications (for custom development, system integration, etc.) based on interactions directly with the customer and professional services team.
Works directly with the client to understand their business needs
Develops proposed enhancements to fit the client’s needs within the application framework
Works effectively and individually with technical and non-technical team members
Shares similar mentality as existing team members toward customer satisfaction and success
Oversees and has accountability for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work
Develops and documents business requirements
Provides on-going communication to project team and client
Ability to articulate and write clear and concise documentation for complex requirements or solutions in a business-friendly language.
2+ years of hands-on technical experience as a Business Analyst
Background in the lending, equipment leasing, or asset-based financing industries
Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.
Ability to collect and analyze information and think critically about customers’ requirements
Strong oral and written communication skills
Self-starter and be able to work independently with little supervision
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary
Experience with Diagraming/Flowchart software such as Visio
Experience in Software Development a plus
Experience in Project Management a plus
