Business Analyst

Overview:

The Business Analyst, (BA), will participate in the overall design of assigned projects.  The role will requires strategic design and mapping of business requirements and solutions to system/technical requirements. The BA will also be responsible for specifications (for custom development, system integration, etc.) based on interactions directly with the customer and professional services team.

Responsibilities:

• Works directly with the client to understand their business needs

• Develops proposed enhancements to fit the client’s needs within the application framework

• Works effectively and individually with technical and non-technical team members

• Shares similar mentality as existing team members toward customer satisfaction and success

• Oversees and has accountability for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work

• Develops and documents business requirements

• Provides on-going communication to project team and client

• Ability to articulate and write clear and concise documentation for complex requirements or solutions in a business-friendly language.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience as a Business Analyst

• Background in the lending, equipment leasing, or asset-based financing industries

• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.

• Ability to collect and analyze information and think critically about customers’ requirements

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Self-starter and be able to work independently with little supervision

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary

• Experience with Diagraming/Flowchart software such as Visio

• Experience in Software Development a plus

• Experience in Project Management a plus
