Requirements
  • Five years of experience producing rigorous, thought-provoking, on-brand content with a strong grasp of technology, business and global trends
  • Experience delivering content that requires little editing and engages audiences
  • Experience producing content exploring bigger-picture themes and trends relevant to businesses
  • Significant experience across the full editorial process from research and commissioning to editing and production

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Director of Content and Consultants to produce high-quality, on-brand thought leadership content that delivers ROI for clients
  • Engaging with external clients and internal project leads to understand client objectives and tailor narratives accordingly
  • Researching, generating ideas, creating synopses, booking interviews, collaborating with writers on drafts, editing copy, and shepherding projects through the production process
  • Writing content where required
  • Collaborating with design teams and project leads to produce design briefs and illustrations that support the narrative
  • Supporting video storyboarding and script-writing
  • Meeting deadlines and maintaining output quality
  • Maintaining focus on delivering excellent outputs and exploring ways to elevate them
  • Building capabilities and networks
  • Keeping knowledge up-to-date about WIRED topics through reading, events and other activities and sharing with the team
  • Building and quality assuring external pool of trusted writers and editorial researchers
  • Expanding contributor networks and engaging them with WIRED Consulting projects and events
  • Supporting sales and marketing efforts for the team
  • Producing blogs and thought leadership content for WIRED Consulting channels
  • Drafting social copy
  • Supporting new business efforts through building relationships with clients and understanding their business
