  • Deep understanding of the pensions administration or related sector landscape (e.g. actuarial consulting or investment services)
  • Proven track record in sales, business development or client management within the pensions sector or related sectors mentioned above
  • You may already be at a senior level looking for a new challenge, or earlier in your career looking to take a step up – for us it’s about the right drive, desire to get stuck in and build a client pipeline
  • Strong network in the industry of decision makers or influencers, whether they be directly involved in pension schemes, third party evaluators or independent trustees.
  • Good relationship builder, both internally and externally at all levels
  • Excellent presentation skills, able to tell the Aptia story in a way that inspires others to come on the journey with us
  • A good team player – the team is small and close knit, and you will need to work shoulder-to-shoulder among your peers and wider stakeholders within the business
  • Driven to succeed and able to work autonomously
  • Good at multi-tasking and manage priorities effectively
Responsibilities
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Third Party Evaluators, Independent Trustees, and key industry influencers.
  • Strategically identify and qualify opportunities, ensuring a sustainable pipeline of potential clients.
  • Build your pipeline by meeting prospective clients either through individual networking or attendance at key industry events.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and finalisation.
