We are recruiting one headcount in US and the individual can be either based in our LA, NY or SF office.

Position Summary:

B Capital is seeking a dynamic Marketing & Communications Manager to play an integral role in the development of marketing programs, content and corporate communications. We are looking for a well-rounded multi-channel marketer, with exemplary writing skills, to help grow the B Capital brand among founders, limited partners and peers. As part of the marketing team, you will help build and execute content-based programs that increase the awareness of B Capital and its core businesses. The Marketing & Communications Manager will be involved in a broad range of priorities, including:

• Content strategy
• PR coordination
• Messaging and positioning
• Execution of social media and website content
• Conference and awards strategy and support

This is a great opportunity to be an integral part of a marketing team in a fast-growing firm that invests in cutting-edge technologies globally. The role reports to the VP of Marketing and Communications and works closely with the other members of the global Marketing team, as well as the rest of the firm.

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce and oversee thought leadership content (e.g., thematic articles, why we invested pieces, etc.)
• Manage the firm’s social media strategy, including developing a content calendar, drafting social media posts, driving community engagement, developing graphics and more
• Lead B Capital’s conference engagement in collaboration with PR agency, including managing conference calendar, coordinating briefing documents and more
• Support on organizing and coordinating firm-level events, such as founder focused dinners, the firm’s Annual General Meeting and other LP events
• Support on firm-level PR engagement, including but not limited to:
  • Collaborating with PR agency for broadcast and print PR, as well as award submissions
  • Drafting and reviewing press releases, briefing books and other collateral
• Support on portfolio company PR engagement, including coordinating with PR firm to amplify funding announcements

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS in a relevant discipline
• 5-7 years of experience in marketing, PR, communications or journalism
• Experience creating a wide range of content including articles, social media and videos
• At least basic experience with digital marketing systems (e.g., WordPress, Google Analytics, etc) and social media channels
• Experience in finance, and ideally asset management, is preferred

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate with teams across the firm
• Very strong written communication skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality written content across a variety of formats (print, web media, presentations)
• Flexible, a problem-solver and able to multitask
• A self-starter with the ability to develop and executive project plans with minimal guidance

The salary range is $100,000 - $150,000 and will commensurate according to relevantexperiences.
