CFGI provides financial consulting that acts as an extension of a company’s internal finance team, covering technical accounting, interim management, corporate tax, private equity services, valuation, M&A support, and RPA. It embeds senior professionals to run or support finance functions as technical accounting advisors, controllers, or CFOs, delivering project-based help and process improvements, often with RPA tools. Unlike firms that offer only standalone advisory, CFGI partners directly with internal teams across a wide range of needs to deliver ongoing, hands-on support. The goal is to help clients navigate complex financial challenges, improve reporting accuracy and efficiency, and scale their finance capabilities.

Sweep and CFGI announce strategic partnership to help enterprises navigate sustainability reporting with confidence.

Sweep and CFGI announce strategic partnership to help enterprises navigate sustainability reporting with confidence. * Last updated - April 14, 2026 News announcement This strategic partnership combines Sweep's market-leading sustainability intelligence platform with CFGI's finance, accounting, and ESG expertise, ensuring quality non-financial information for effective decision-making and regulatory compliance. Together, Sweep and CFGI will help enterprises meet growing sustainability reporting requirements with audit-ready data and processes. The partnership brings together Sweep's technology platform for sustainability data management with CFGI's deep expertise in technical accounting, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and ESG program management. The result is a complete solution that ensures you can capture and manage your data to meet your regulatory requirements and support your strategic objectives. As CFOs and finance leaders face mounting pressure to deliver on growing compliance demands, such as CSRD, IFRS S1/S2 and California SB 253/SB 261, organizations need more than guidance on simply what's required. More than ever, they need technology and processes that: can handle data complexity; meet audit standards; scale with the growth in data volumes; and keep up with regulatory change. This partnership addresses each of these challenges. Sweep's enterprise-grade sustainability intelligence platform gives organizations the infrastructure to collect, manage, and report sustainability data with the granularity and traceability that auditors and regulators expect. Sweep supports comprehensive value chain emissions tracking, meets industry-standard reporting frameworks, and delivers the data quality and controls that finance teams require. CFGI brings end-to-end sustainability capabilities, supporting clients across the full ESG lifecycle. The company works alongside management to translate continuously-evolving ESG requirements into practical, scalable solutions. CFGI does this whilst building clients internal capabilities so that their combined work can continue to be taken forward. The outcome is sustainability information that is decision-useful, credible and audit ready while building robust foundations for long-term value creation. Rachel Delacour, CEO and cofounder of Sweep said: "Finance leaders are on the front line of sustainability reporting, and they need solutions built for their standards - audit trails, data integrity, and regulatory precision. CFGI understands the compliance and assurance requirements that CFOs and controllers are managing, and together we can give them both the strategic guidance and the technology platform to get it done. This partnership is particularly well-suited to the US and European markets, where organizations are balancing CSRD extraterritorial scope and California mandates all at once." Chris Docherty, Head of ESG Advisory at CFGI adds: "Sustainability reporting is continuing to move from voluntary to being mandated by an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. Organizations need confidence that their data, processes and controls will stand up to regulatory and assurance scrutiny. Partnering with Sweep allows us to combine deep ESG, accounting and controls expertise with a robust, enterprise-grade technology platform. Together, we help teams move beyond interpretation of requirements to operationalise them - building audit-ready sustainability data and governance that supports compliance, decision-making and long-term business resilience."
