Product Director, Analytics (Product Management)

We are looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative and enthusiastic Product Director of Analytics to join the team. Enterprise networks have shifted from being thought of as cost center to the business to more of an enabler and required for business transformation. We believe networks which can reliably provide accurate data and insights become business assets positively impacting customer experience and business outcome. As the Product owner, you will have the opportunity to convert data into powerful insights and analytics impacting business outcome.
ExtremeAnalytics is currently in use by 29 of the 30 NFL teams for business, security, and network insights. Beyond NFL teams, there are other prestigious sports leagues, large enterprises, retail, educational and healthcare customers which rely on Extreme Networks for secure connectivity. This is a unique opportunity to define a cloud-based analytics solution to focus beyond IT teams who typically manage the enterprise networks in turning the network into business insights. Marketing, operations, security, facilities, store managers and various other teams will benefit when network data is converted into insights and presented in meaningful way. You will become core of the team redefining network analytics and be the focal point to collaborate and drive the analytics product across the portfolio. In this role, you will own, evangelize, and implement our vision for what analytics means in Infinite Enterprise through deep understanding of customer personas, defining use cases and mapping network data into business insights clearly showing the business impact when data is collected with a mission to help our customers!
This is an exciting position whose mission includes bringing leadership, vision, and best-in-class solution. In addition to your own creativity, you will also rely on interaction with customers and sales to understand market needs and problems. You will work in a fast-paced environment collaborating with our customer experience and user research team and driving requirements with the engineering team to define an executable plan.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
·Understanding of Extreme Networks enterprise portfolio and target customer base
·Drive the analytics product lifecycle from vision and planning through to product delivery collaborating deeply with other product managers
·Strong desire to understand user personas, customer problems to define expanded use cases and value proposition
·Collaborate with our engineering, user experience, product marketing and product teams to craft novel approaches to new and existing use cases
·Maintenance and ownership of release cycle for product technical documentation, inducing release notes, SE training, Sales training and Channel partner training materials
·Keen empathy for the customer experience, strong design aesthetics and a compulsion to build outstanding user experiences.
Experience
Your background likely includes:
·Over 5 years of experience as Product Manager
·Experience working with cloud-based products
·Prior experience of analytics products is highly desired
·Basic understanding of enterprise networks is required
·Ability to translate technology features into customer experience and use cases
·Has strong analytical skillset to influence product roadmaps with a data driven mindset
·Experience enabling or engaging with enterprise sales teams, channel partners and Customers
·Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a remote role with distributed teams
·Experience includes cross collaboration across teams to deliver products and services
·Excellent written and spoken communication skills, ability to communicate to an executive audience.
·Bachelor of Science or equivalent in engineering, or related field of study is desired
