We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator on our customer service and support team responsible for managing deliveries, returns and exchanges with our customers. Day-to-day duties will range from working with logistics partners to schedule shipments, communicating updates to internal and external partners, coordinating customer acceptance sign offs and maintaining documentation for vessels. You will operate closely with our logistics, service and support teams.
An ideal candidate will have experience with military freight operations
Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management: Build relationships and act as the primary point of contact for general shipment status inquiriesand related inbound support contacts to Saronic.
- Communication: Provide regular updates to internal teams regardingshipment status, potential delays, and other critical information.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all logistics activities meet relevant regulations and standards, including DoD requirements. Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other logistical documentation.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and address logistics-related issues quickly. Develop and implement contingency plans to manage risks and maintain operational continuity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications or training in logistics or supply chain management are a plus but not required.
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management. Experience in high-tech or defense-related industries is a plus but not necessary.
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM
- Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable reports.
