Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction using Performance Academies' curriculum and instructional resources.
  • Plan and implement differentiated, data-informed lessons that meet students' diverse learning needs.
  • Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments and adjust instruction to promote academic growth.
  • Create meaningful learning experiences that foster critical thinking, inquiry, and student engagement.
  • Maintain high academic expectations while supporting students in reaching learning goals.
  • Promote regular student attendance through engaging instruction and positive communication with students and families.
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Implement school-wide behavior expectations, character education, and positive behavior supports consistently.
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, instructional coaches, and school leaders to improve student outcomes.
  • Participate in parent conferences, intervention meetings, IEP/IAT meetings, and other student support processes.
  • Contribute to school-wide events, enrollment efforts, and community engagement activities.
  • Participate in ongoing professional learning and school-based meetings.
  • Maintain accurate student records, classroom documentation, and instructional materials.
  • Perform other duties that support student and school-community success.
