Requirements
  • Five years of Health Information Technology experience.
  • Experience in an analyst role providing application support, debugging, clinical or business workflow analysis, problem solving, and use of standard project management tools.
  • Three years of experience leading teams and managing small- to medium-sized projects.
  • Two years of experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Two years of experience in workflow analysis, including use of modeling software such as Visio.
  • Proficiency in two or more areas of core clinical or business information systems.
Responsibilities
  • Manage small- to medium-sized projects as directed by Information Systems management.
  • Participate as a lead or primary support analyst for Information Systems projects and complete and coordinate related tasks.
  • Assist the manager with supervisory-related tasks as directed and function as a resource for Level I and Level II analysts.
  • Act independently and/or within a team environment to achieve project, department, or organizational objectives while incorporating management and end-user input.
  • Lead and/or participate in interdepartmental work groups or committees as an application subject matter expert.
  • Provide operational support for applications, including troubleshooting, maintenance, training, and vendor interaction.
  • Analyze new and potential software enhancements to identify present and future business needs.
  • Work with end-users to ensure modifications are appropriate and consistent with Information Systems standards.
  • Provide training and documentation on applications and operational processes.
  • Meet with internal and external end-users to ensure documentation is clear and understood.
  • Analyze, identify, evaluate, and document end-user needs.
  • Assess current applications to determine whether system, regulatory, and daily operational requirements are met.
  • Analyze current processes and programs for enhancements that improve data integrity, workflow efficiency, and end-user satisfaction.
  • Assist end-users with ad hoc and ongoing information needs and maintain detailed knowledge of applications relating to assigned business areas.
  • Resolve problems in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Use standard documentation and the help desk system as daily tools.
  • Escalate problems to colleagues, vendors, or Information Systems management when required to ensure timely resolution.
  • Advise and consult with end-users on the functional capabilities of Community Memorial Healthcare applications to enhance productivity and support essential job functions.
  • Participate in educational programs, current-literature review, in-service meetings, and workshops to support professional growth and development.
  • Maintain awareness of current technologies and related areas of information services.
  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Previous experience supporting pharmacy systems.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Citrix.
  • Project Management Professional certification.
  • Two years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership at the Vice President level or above.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Clinical experience, license, or certification.
