Salary Range: 55000 to 65000 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)

We have partnered with a non-profit organization dedicated to helping low income families. The team is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for processing accounts payable transactions timely
Monitor and report on outstanding invoices
Communicate and resolve discrepancies with vendor and internal customers
Reconcile all credit card accounts and process timely payments
Research and maintain integrity of 1099 reporting
Responsible for closing activities, including, reconciling accounts payable accounts, preparing accruals and assisting with processing cost allocations
Maintain strong relationships with employees, departments, and vendors

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area
Minimum 3 years Accounting experience, ideally AP experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential
