Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities
  • Read and evaluate applications for undergraduate admission, make decisions, or refer cases to the Director of Admissions.
  • Conduct recruitment travel, including community college visits, college fairs, high school visits, and other regional events.
  • Provide guidance, expertise, and recommendations to prospective students, parents, alumni, guidance counselors, and transfer advisors, and conduct outreach to these groups.
  • Work closely with on-campus offices and departments, including the Office of the Registrar, financial aid, athletics, and academic divisions.
  • Conduct on-campus information sessions and interviews for prospective students and their parents.
  • Present an overview of university programs and majors, student life, and the admissions process.
  • Participate in campus and online events.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies and plans for the transfer population.
  • Analyze results of previous years' activities and develop and execute a comprehensive, integrated plan for fall and spring travel, visits, and events involving outreach to prospective students, parents, transfer advisors, high school counselors, alumni, and others.
  • Review first-year applications on an as-needed basis.
  • Assist with first-year recruitment efforts as needed.
  • Assist with the coordination and staffing of on-campus programs and online events for prospective students.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
