Requirements

Responsibilities
  • The Sales Associate serves customers in a professional, quick, and courteous manner while complying with food handling guidelines.
  • The employee must arrive at work in a clean and proper uniform and maintain a clean and neat appearance.
  • The employee greets customers in a friendly manner and understands all functions of the point-of-sale system.
  • The employee makes change properly.
  • The employee opens and closes shifts, including completing all paperwork.
  • The employee uses credit card equipment.
  • The employee processes all sales quickly and accurately.
  • The employee ensures that all items are properly stocked and priced correctly.
  • The employee reads and follows directions.
  • The employee checks in vendor deliveries.
  • The employee assists in ordering.
  • The employee understands fuel inventory reports.
  • The employee cleans and sanitizes equipment and performs simple maintenance.
  • The employee keeps the store neat and clean inside and outside.
  • The employee recognizes problems and reports them to management.
  • The employee is responsible for all aspects of food operations and handling and storage of products.
  • The employee complies with all food handling guidelines to meet or exceed state and federal regulations.
  • The employee follows proper cooking procedures and temperature-holding requirements to maintain a clean and healthy food service environment.
  • The employee ensures that food products are stored properly, rotated, and code-dated with expiration dates.
  • The employee ensures that cooked and stored food products are held at proper temperatures.
  • The employee tests food temperatures to ensure food safety and quality control.
  • The employee provides friendly and competent customer service.
  • The employee reports for scheduled work in a timely manner with regular and consistent attendance.
  • The employee assists with other assigned duties.
