- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
- EIT certification is required.
- Three to five years of experience in water resources engineering, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and stormwater design is required.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software applications is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complete assignments on schedule is required.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively with a client-service mindset is required.
- The ability to lead a design team, delegate responsibilities, and track project progress is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills are required.
- Prepare construction plans and engineering designs for stormwater management, drainage, flood-control, and water resources projects.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support project planning and design.
- Develop stormwater management reports, drainage studies, and supporting technical documentation.
- Assist with the preparation of permit applications and coordination with regulatory agencies.
- Utilize Civil 3D and water resources modeling software to develop and refine project designs.
- Coordinate regularly with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery.
- Lead and coordinate design activities, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress of team members.
- Support project execution to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- A Professional Engineer license is strongly preferred.
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software is preferred.
