Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience working as an environmental or civil engineer in environmental consulting, environmental construction, or a similar field
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil, environmental, related engineering field
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, with ability to obtain Professional Engineering license (PE) in WA State within two years
  • Ability to acquire and maintain any certifications or licenses required for completion of job tasks, such as HAZWOPER, CPR, and/or TWIC
  • Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
  • Support completion of sediment remediation, habitat restoration, and upland remediation projects throughout the PNW
  • Work closely with project teams that will often include technical experts in other disciplines at the firm, as well as teaming partners and contractors outside the firm
  • Prepare remedial investigation and feasibility study reports
  • Conduct remedial design for sediment and/or upland projects
  • Perform field work including sampling soil, soil vapor, sediment, and/or groundwater
  • Create plans/drawings or perform volume calculations using CADD and Civil3D
  • Work within WA State environmental regulatory frameworks
  • Prepare or review plans and specifications and bid packages for environmental remediation projects
  • Provide construction oversight on environmental remediation projects
  • Work with clients and/or regulatory agencies
  • Complete quality control reviews of work products prepared by the team
