Job Summary
Working remotely and under minimal supervision, help shape the strategy and direction of new products and services based on insights gathered through advanced data modeling and analysis techniques, and help develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that drive product and business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee an analytics team of Digital/Data Analysts to deliver insights and recommendations to optimize AccuWeather’s mobile applications and website considering industry trends and the performance of competing digital sites
- Oversee the development and maintenance of data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics that support key business decisions
- Own and optimize the data measurement framework for the digital products
- Work closely with the Data Solutions and engineering teams to oversee the development of the automated solutions for executive-level reporting and dashboarding
- Oversee the analysis of data and research reflecting the costs of customer acquisition and retention, and recommend new strategies based on same to uncover optimization opportunities
- Analyze complex business problems using data from internal and external data sources to provide strategic and actionable business insights to decision-makers
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly recap reports evaluating data on business performance and marketing efforts (e.g., forecasting and budgeting).
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Analytics or any applicable field and 2 years of related experience (or equivalent)
- Experience with Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Google BigQuery, SQL, Python, and Data Studio. Telecommuters considered.
