Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and one year of radiologic experience
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT)
  • Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
  • Proactively maintains and renews ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training
  • Must be familiar with age specific criteria
Responsibilities
  • Utilize all MRI resources to perform high quality MRI examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician
  • Performs clinical MRI and MR Angiography testing, including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions related with these studies
