Process Engineering group is looking for entry level or early career engineers to join the team. This position is a good fit for a recent college graduate (0-3 yrs experience), or a mid-career engineer working in another field who has a strong desire to join the semiconductor industry.
Process Engineers at Camas spend their time improving yield, removing cost and complexity from the factory, leading cross-functional continuous improvement and problem-solving activities, developing and adapting processes for new devices, and sustaining established semiconductor manufacturing processes. The Camas fab is a 24-7 manufacturing environment, so a successful candidate will adapt to the dynamic environment and demonstrate a desire to continuously learn new skills.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chem E, Mat Sci, EE, Physics, or a related discipline.
Academic or industry experience in semiconductor production or knowledge of semiconductor processing, device physics, and bipolar and CMOS device integration is preferred.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are required. Applicants must be able to train, influence, and motivate coworkers with educations ranging from GED to PhD and experience ranging from new hire to SVP.
Thorough understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and engineering statistics
Capable of safely processing wafers in a cleanroom environment
Able to occasionally travel domestically and internationally as needed.

This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors
This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
Benefits for the position includes 10 paid holidays per year, paid vacation starting at 136 hours per year for full-time employees (prorated for part-time employees), and paid sick time that exceeds the requirements of the Washington State Sick Leave law.
