Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, or others
  • Must be fluent in container concepts, including Kubernetes ecosystem, container registries and networking, as well as service mesh integration and DevOps CI/CD chain
  • 3 years’ experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
  • Knowledge of security best practices in containerized environments
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
  • Strong understanding of different AWS IaaS services, AWS Containers and platform and their associated limitations
  • Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment preferred
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Sec+, CISSP, CASP, etc.)
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
Responsibilities
  • Design container cluster architecture and install, configure, schedule, and troubleshoot the workloads of containers
  • Design and implement containerized applications and services
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams
  • Optimize performance and ensure scalability of containerized environments
  • Maintain high availability of containerized applications
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
  • Monitor and troubleshoot containerized environments
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of containerization practices
  • Ensure security best practices are followed in containerized environments
  • Automate deployment and scaling processes
  • Document containerization processes and procedures
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions for containerized applications
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in SAP and Collateral Information Systems (IS)
  • AWS Professional or Associate certification
  • Experience with multiple cloud environments, to include Oracle
  • Technical certifications, such as Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA), Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers, Docker certification, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator
