Role Description:

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Containerization Engineer specializing in containerization solutions for complex cloud-based infrastructure at multiple classification levels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native applications. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in containerization and cloud technologies. Responsibilities include:

Design container cluster architecture and install, configure, schedule, and troubleshoot the workloads of containers
Design and implement containerized applications and services
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams
Optimize performance and ensure scalability of containerized environments
Maintain high availability of containerized applications
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
Monitor and troubleshoot containerized environments
Contribute to the continuous improvement of containerization practices
Ensure security best practices are followed in containerized environments
Automate deployment and scaling processes
Document containerization processes and procedures
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals
Implement monitoring and logging solutions for containerized applications

Here’s what you need:

Minimum three (3) years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, or others
Must be fluent in container concepts, including Kubernetes ecosystem, container registries and networking, as well as service mesh integration and DevOps CI/CD chain
3 years’ experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Experience with AWS
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
Knowledge of security best practices in containerized environments
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
Strong understanding of different AWS IaaS services, AWS Containers and platform and their associated limitations
Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment preferred
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Sec+, CISSP, CASP, etc.)
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience

Bonus points if you have:

Experience in SAP and Collateral Information Systems (IS)
AWS Professional or Associate certification
Experience with multiple cloud environments, to include Oracle
Technical certifications, such as Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA), Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers, Docker certification, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Security Clearance:

Must have an Active TS/SCI level clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
