Requirements
  • A Ph.D. in Physics, or related field, at the time of appointment (in August 2026).
  • Experience in lattice Quantum Chromodynamics or closely related theoretical techniques; ability and desire to solve problems related to the spectrum of hadrons using lattice QCD.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the local Nuclear and Hadronic Theory Group led by Prof. Jozef Dudek and with scientists in the Theory Center at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab).
  • Work on projects within the Hadron Spectrum Collaboration under the supervision of Prof. Jozef Dudek.
Desired Qualifications
  • Research experience in the fields of lattice Quantum Chromodynamics and/or hadron spectroscopy, evidenced through journal publications.
