- A diploma or degree in Education, Special Education, Educational Assistant, or an education-focused field covering Communication, Child Development, Mental Health, and Life Span Development.
- A minimum of 2–3 years of experience as an Educational Assistant or in a K–12 support role.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with online teaching tools such as Microsoft Teams.
- Deliver engaging and interactive online instruction based on the established curriculum.
- Create a supportive and inclusive online learning environment.
- Assess student progress through assignments, discussions, and assessments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to learners.
- Maintain student attendance, grading, and records in accordance with institutional policies.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure program alignment and student success.
- Stay current with trends and best practices in education and online learning.
- Experience teaching or facilitating online learning is strongly preferred.
- TESL or English as a Second Language experience is an asset.
