Responsibilities
  • Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a specific location.
  • Perform specialized service procedures, including field retrofits and software and hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
  • Provide on-call and emergency support service to customers as required.
  • Purchase tools, equipment, and parts for customer service and support as required.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain high-pressure hydrogen storage, 480VAC, flammability, cryogenic liquid, high-pressure gas, and fueling systems as required.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customer personnel and hydrogen suppliers regarding aftermarket support of fuel cells.
  • Provide regular feedback to regional service representatives regarding fuel cell performance and field maintenance issues.
  • Complete administrative duties and documentation, including incident reports, service logs, inventory maintenance, and site and system documentation.
  • Exhibit and enforce safety procedures in the field and at customer sites.
  • Travel as required for business needs, drive safely, and adhere to all traffic laws.
  • Represent Plug Power professionally in all interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
