Requirements
  • Minimum of 15+ years in IT infrastructure for a large film or episodic post production studio or animation facility.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a technology leadership role leading large teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Detail oriented with excellent communication, organization, budgetary and documentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take criticism, and work under high pressure with tight deadlines while maintaining team cohesion.
  • Strong technical leader who can successfully collaborate with/across teams to bring designs and projects to fruition.
  • Situational awareness of the environment for quick and decisive identification of issues and to identify resolutions.
  • This role requires a “production-minded” and customer centric work ethic helping to maintain the high level of quality associated with the MSG Sphere.
Responsibilities
  • Leading technical projects in alignment with organizational goals including evaluation and implementation of new systems and products.
  • Oversee and manage deliverables and deadlines for the studio technology infrastructure specification, deployment and maintenance projects.
  • Input on processes for tracking and reporting performance to internal and external partners.
  • Balance the prioritization between short term solutions and long-term pipeline and technology infrastructure.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments to collect and integrate feedback into systems development.
  • Generate regular status reports, project proposals, financial budget reports and other executive overviews on systems status and future improvements.
  • Leading a large team, making staffing decisions for the ongoing support of Studio systems and artist needs.
  • Be the subject matter authority on global platform policy and tech guidelines to analyze and communicate the impact of key strategy and market changes.
