  • Judgment and troubleshooting skills are required to resolving non-standard problems and it may include membership in the campus Emergency Response Team
  • Must be actively pursuing an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program in HVAC, Mechanical or a closely related field throughout the Internship
  • Must be willing to work in cleanroom environments, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves
  • Must be willing to lift up to 30 lbs, pull 250lbs at least once a day, and spend the majority of the time on the floor working on toolsets, walking 3-5 miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for 9 hours
Responsibilities
  • Obtain and sustain all required safety and technical certifications
  • Actively engaging in team safety initiatives
  • Safely troubleshooting errors performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of equipment to maintain 100 manufacturing uptime
  • Conduct preventative predictive and corrective maintenance inspections and procedures
  • Utilize and develop technical troubleshooting skills to solve daily tactical operational issues
  • Perform work within generally defined parameters

  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records
