Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, or 6 years of construction-related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to visit job sites and visually assess progress.
Responsibilities
  • Follow the project work package development schedule and generate work package documents.
  • Gather information from field leadership and quality assurance/quality control and work with departmental managers to approve and issue work packages.
  • Conduct walk-downs with the craft responsible for performing the work, subject matter experts, and supervisors to coordinate their input during package development for nuclear construction work packages.
  • Ensure work packages are programmatically compliant and reference applicable design documents, installation procedures, hold points, inventory controls, and related materials.
  • Write work packages so requirements are clearly communicated to co-workers performing the work.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Safety, and quality assurance/quality control to ensure identified hold points are incorporated into packages.
  • Work with Document Control to review controlled design documents throughout the project lifecycle and update work packages based on client-generated contract changes.
  • Support the Superintendent and Field Engineers in incorporating Baker- or field-generated changes into packages to optimize project performance.
