The Role

As a member of the Corporate Systems IT Infrastructure support team, engineer will be responsible for administering and managing the Citrix platform and related Desktop Engineering. Responsibilities including MS Intune, Apple MAC OS and Windows Desktop OS Platform and be well versed with VDI Solutions.

The ideal candidate will lead with engineering of Desktop OS components of Windows OS and MAC OS to support the business. The role will also need to have significant experience Microsoft Intune Configuration and Management, Citrix Infrastructure, Windows/VM management, MCS/PVS, etc and Citrix NetScalers. In addition to the above the candidate must be proficient with managing dell Wyse thin clients via cloud base solution.

How You’ll Help Take Us There

Citrix VDI Administration and Support: 

• Design, deploy, and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenDesktop/XenApp) environments. 
• Perform regular maintenance, patching, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve VDI-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime. 
• Develop and document best practices for Citrix deployments. 

Microsoft Intune Configuration and Management: 

• Configure, manage, and optimize Microsoft Intune for device and application management. 
• Deploy and manage device compliance policies, application provisioning, and endpoint security settings. 
• Ensure integration between Intune and other enterprise tools for streamlined operations. 

Infrastructure Design and Optimization: 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and resilient VDI architectures. 
• Optimize VDI performance, leveraging GPU acceleration, storage solutions, and network configurations. 
• Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with organizational standards. 

End-User Support: 

• Provide tier-3 support for Citrix VDI and Intune-related incidents. 
• Train IT staff and end-users on utilizing Citrix and Intune solutions effectively. 
• Monitor and report on usage, performance, and user feedback. 

Automation and Scripting: 

• Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiencies using PowerShell or similar tools. 
• Implement self-service functionalities for end-users within the VDI environment. 

Desktop Engineering: 

• Maintain OS Management of Both Windows Desktop OS and MAC OS for Laptop, VDI and desktop deployment. 
• Leverage Intune to Lock down the laptops to offer both optimal user experience and secure the device.
• Perform regular maintenance, patching, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance. 

Documentation and Reporting: 

• Maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides. 
• Provide regular performance and usage reports to stakeholders. 

What We’re Looking for  

• 5+ years of experience in managing Citrix VDI environments. 
• 5+ Years of Experience in Engineering Desktop OS (Windows and MAC) 
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for device and application management. 
• Proven experience with Citrix ADC (NetScaler), StoreFront, and Citrix Cloud, MAC OS and VDI solutions. 
• Expertise in configuring and managing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Endpoint Manager. 
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). 
• Scripting experience with PowerShell or similar tools. 
• Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and load balancing. 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $150,000 USD to $200,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
