Requirements
  • Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field. Ph.D. degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wafer process integration, technical program management, or related roles within the semiconductor, HDD, or related industry.
  • Strong technical background in wafer development and manufacturing, wafer processing technologies and tools including but not limited to CMP, RIE, wet etching and cleaning, and wafer metrologies.
  • Proficient in Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Design of Experiments (DOE), statistical data analytics (JMP and SAS), and process control (SPC, APC).
  • Experience with Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), 6-sigma, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies and practices.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process integration strategies in close collaboration with cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines to ensure seamless coordination and timely product delivery with quality assurance.
  • Take responsibility for identifying and resolving inter-module technical issues, conducting failure analysis through Design of Experiments (DOE) and process data analysis, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with process/metrology owners to define incoming and outgoing process/materials specifications and required metrology. Negotiate with stakeholders to resolve differences, review process/metrology data, and verify process capability.
  • Develop and maintain product configuration documents, specifications, process flows/procedures during the R&D stage, and prepare packages for the smooth transition of new products into volume production stages.
  • Lead the implementation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions for process control/data management and drive data automation initiatives to enhance process monitoring and control as the representative from the wafer engineering team.
