Reinventing Geospatial (RGi) is a leading geospatial expert working with Defense, Intelligence, and Federal clients to achieve mission success and solutions for varied mission-critical programs. RGi is looking for a talented Software Engineer that is passionate about technology and the mission of our customers to join our team! This individual will work as an integral part of a software development team translating real-world needs into technical solutions. The ideal candidate is a software engineer passionate about helping to drive our customers’ and company missions forward. The candidate must be self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to balance simultaneous tasks to keep pace with our team of high performers.
Clearance:
- Active Top Secret clearance with willingness and ability to obtain an SCI and CI polygraph
- US Citizenship required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience in software development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance)
- Demonstrated experience developing with Java, RESTful APIs
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing software enhancements to mission systems in other Government agencies.
- Demonstrated experience integrating multiple applications.
- Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to mission problems.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Kafka, NiFi automation.
- AWS experience
- Demonstrated experience with continuous integration and software CM processes / tools (Subversion, GIT, JIRA, Confluence)
- Demonstrated experience with building DevOps pipelines for enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated experience with infrastructure as code applications (Chef, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
- AWS Certification (Developer, DevOps and/or, Architect, etc.)
Skills We’d Like to See:
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Minikube, etc.
- Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
- Experience with ElasticSearch
- Experience with AWS environments
- Experience working in an SAFe Agile environment
- Security+ Certification
