Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain, or a minimum of 8 years of related work experience.
  • Seven or more years of operational management experience.
  • Five or more years of quality management or process improvement experience.
  • Experience with food-grade operations is preferred.
  • Experience with SQF and/or HACCP is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, maintain, and audit the Quality Management System according to established company and industry standards.
  • Implement a standardized corrective action system.
  • Report the effectiveness of the Quality Management System at regular management meetings.
  • Support regulatory compliance and certification requirements.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining the Customer Satisfaction Management Process.
  • Perform all Quality Assurance functions for a start-up or expansion.
  • Engage the operations team and customers to achieve business objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement deployment using Lean and Six Sigma fundamentals.
  • Provide training on Quality Assurance topics to identified employees.
  • Work on problems of diverse scope requiring data analysis and evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Apply judgment within generally defined practices and policies to select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement projects as necessary.

Ryder beats EPS forecast by 27 cents on 6% rise in used tractor sales

Ryder reports Q1 results Thursday with flat revenue expected
