What will you be doing at Woodard & Curran?

Regularly participates in the daily operations and maintenance of the Drinking Water Treatment and Distribution Systems as directed by the Project Manager. Participates in an on-call rotation on weekends, holidays and outside normal workday hours. Will be required to respond to an emergency or unpredictable situations.

Job duties may include, but not limited to.

Daily operations of all water system wells and facilities within our 450 square mile service area.
State and Federal regulated compliance sampling in the distribution system.
Maintenance of all water system facilities and their appurtenances (Wells, pump stations, control valves, vaults, water storage structures, and grounds).

What will you need to succeed?

Missouri Drinking Water treatment plant operator’s license preferred.
A valid Missouri motor vehicle operator’s license.
Working knowledge of the principles, procedures, methods, equipment, materials, and tools employed in the operation’ and maintenance of Water Treatment and Distribution systems.
Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions involved in water treatment work.
Knowledge of computer applications.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
