Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering
  • Demonstrated networking and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Experience with project management and accounting software is helpful
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the Louisville office operations
  • Coordinate with discipline leaders, management, and corporate HR staff on personnel and staffing issues
  • Coordinate with discipline leaders and senior management to monitor workloads and ensure effective resource allocation
  • Coordinate with senior leaders and business development staff to identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic initiatives
  • Manage relationships with agencies and consultants
  • Engage in business development and networking activities
  • Play a key role in recruiting efforts
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and relationships to drive regional growth
  • Promote our brand and services within the Louisville regional market
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team of civil engineering professionals
  • Uphold and promote our positive workplace culture and corporate values
  • May selectively lead major or strategic projects and may serve as the primary Project Management representative to select clients
  • Provide or ensure QA/QC on local projects and may contribute to the production of select deliverables within your operational discipline/background
