- A Master's degree in a clinical specialty and certification in that specialty are required.
- A New York State Midwifery License is required.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association is required.
- Provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care for women throughout the lifespan.
- Provide full-scope care as an independent provider.
- Participate in consultation and collaboration with physicians for higher-risk patients.
- See patients in the office and take call on Labor and Delivery.
- Provide care for underserved populations.
- Work a 40-hour week consisting of one 24-hour shift and two eight-hour office days, including weekend and holiday coverage.
- At least five years of midwifery experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish ability.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
