  • Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used for quantitative analysis and data manipulation, such as R, Python, and SQL.
  • 3+ years of experience as a quantitative researcher in Fixed Income markets.
  • Deep understanding of fixed income market dynamics and ability to apply quantitative techniques to solve real-world trading problems.
  • Experience applying advanced Machine Learning and AI techniques (Deep Learning, Tree based models, Reinforcement Learning).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS and data visualization tools like Tableau is also highly desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with the MarketAxess Sales team to provide tailored data insights that enhance trading execution for clients and dealers. Act as a trusted partner to the sales teams, empowering them with the quantitative analysis and data-driven solutions needed to support our clients' success and grow MarketAxess' market share.
  • Analyze bond market activity and market micro-structure, including MarketAxess’ proprietary data.
  • Take ownership of existing research models and reports like Transaction Costs Analysis, Tradability and other data products.
  • Develop new models and reports.
  • Collaborate closely with global product and development teams to enrich data-driven trading solutions.
