Requirements
  • Experience building reinforcement-learning environments and/or products used to train or evaluate models, including environments, agentic task suites, evaluations, benchmarks, or verifiers.
  • Four to eight years of engineering experience, including meaningful experience in reinforcement-learning environments, AI-training data, or model evaluation.
  • Strong Python skills, container experience with Docker, and experience with continuous-integration and test infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with large-language-model evaluation and agent harnesses, such as SWE-bench-style setups, verifiers, or HUD, and with verifier and reward design, including resistance to reward hacking.
  • Experience taking projects from concept to production and working effectively in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and serve as a credible technical representative to laboratory and reinforcement-learning-environment researchers.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
  • Identify how production codebases, workspaces, and databases can become high-value AI-training products, including reinforcement-learning environments, agentic task suites, evaluations and verifiers, benchmarks, and fine-tuning or trajectory datasets.
  • Design and build pipelines for repository ingestion, test harnessing, commit-mining for task extraction, Docker and sandbox reproducibility, verifier and reward scripts, and quality-assurance tooling.
  • Wrap real data in interactive environments using sandboxed application state, MCP servers, and browser or Playwright layers for training and evaluating agents.
  • Identify which assets map to current laboratory and reinforcement-learning-environment demand and determine which derivative products maximize their value.
  • Prototype quickly and harden successful concepts into repeatable, scalable pipelines.
  • Partner with the AssetHub buyer and business-development side and technical stakeholders at laboratories and reinforcement-learning-environment buyers to shape products around training needs.
  • Handle codebases, workspace exports, and proprietary datasets with attention to security, privacy, licensing, and personally identifiable information.
  • Write clean, well-tested code, use AI tooling, and collaborate with product, engineering, and the AssetHub general manager.

  • Contributions to public benchmarks or evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience with post-training or fine-tuning data.
  • Simulation or frontend skills involving MCP or Playwright.
  • Experience building and managing a team of engineers.

SimpleClosure launches Asset Hub to recover trillions in abandoned startup assets

SimpleClosure, a startup dissolution service, has launched Asset Hub, a platform enabling founders to sell assets from shutting down companies. The first product, Source Code, is now live, with Workspace Data in beta. The platform addresses an estimated trillions of dollars in abandoned startup assets annually, including codebases, documentation and operational knowledge. SimpleClosure has analysed approximately 3 billion tokens, with nearly 100 participating companies achieving a 20% success rate for source code sales, generating millions in total value. Demand for AI training data has driven growth, with demand-side contracts up 150% quarter over quarter. The company, backed by TTV Capital and others with over $20 million raised, plans to expand into domains, patents and physical equipment.
