Responsibilities
  • Develops new business by analyzing account potential; initiating, developing, and closing sales; recommending new applications and sales strategies
  • Identifies potential in accounts by studying current business; interviewing key customer personnel and company personnel who have worked with customers; identifying and evaluating additional needs; analyzing opportunities
  • Initiates sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments
  • Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Operate as the point of contact for assigned customers, develop and maintains long-term relationships with accounts
  • Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients, forecast and tracks client account metrics
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
  • Develops sales by making initial pitch; explaining product and service enhancements and additions; introducing new products and services
  • Closes sales by overcoming objections; preparing contracts and retaining customers driving recurring business
  • Contributes information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions
