Requirements
  • The candidate must have 2–5 years of experience in customer service, customer operations, logistics, order fulfillment, or supply chain.
  • The candidate must have a strong understanding of order management and fulfillment processes.
  • The candidate must have experience with SAP, enterprise resource planning systems, electronic data interchange platforms, and Microsoft Excel.
  • The candidate must have strong customer-facing communication skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • The candidate must have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • The candidate must have experience troubleshooting electronic data interchange and order management issues.
  • The candidate must have strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently while managing multiple customer portfolios.
  • The candidate must have strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
Responsibilities
  • Manage customer orders through the complete order-to-cash lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing, shipment, and invoicing.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers regarding order status, delivery concerns, inventory availability, service issues, claims, and invoicing questions.
  • Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with Planning and Supply teams to address shortages, delays, allocations, and out-of-stock situations.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse and Logistics teams to coordinate shipments, appointments, routing requirements, and delivery execution.
  • Investigate and resolve electronic data interchange exceptions related to order receipt, shipment confirmations, and invoicing activities.
  • Research and support resolution of customer deductions, shortages, claims, and billing discrepancies.
  • Build effective relationships with customer contacts, Customer Supply Chain Analysts, Sales leaders, and internal functional partners.
  • Support development and maintenance of customer scorecards, service reporting, and operational performance tracking.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes, reduce manual effort, and improve customer experience.
  • Document issues, root causes, and corrective actions to prevent recurring service failures.
  • Uphold Riverside's Core Values.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, Finance, Sales, and Customer Supply Chain teams.
  • Take ownership of customer service performance and issue resolution.
  • Maintain effectiveness when priorities, inventory positions, and customer requirements change.
  • Use available data, systems, and stakeholder relationships to resolve service issues efficiently.
  • Process customer orders with greater than 99.5% order accuracy and 98% or higher processing within the service-level agreement.
  • Respond to customer emails, calls, and inquiries within established service levels, with 95% or more responded to within one business day.
  • Resolve or assign service issues, shortages, delivery issues, claims, and customer escalations within agreed service levels, with 95% or more resolved within the agreed service-level agreement.
  • Resolve electronic data interchange errors, failed transmissions, and order exceptions within the service-level agreement, with 95% or more resolved within the service-level agreement.
  • Communicate and document 100% of material service risks, shortages, delays, and customer impacts to stakeholders.
  • Participate in service improvement initiatives and maintain standard operating procedure compliance.
  • Act as a Riverside Brand Ambassador by protecting product quality, availability, and customer experience and bringing the consumer voice into work.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience within a consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, distribution, or food industry environment is preferred.
