We are hiring a Senior Legal & Business Operations Manager to join our recently formed Legal & Business Operations team.
You will report directly to the Head of Legal & Business Operations.
What you’ll do:
- Supporting the Head of Legal & Business Operations with overseeing and managing PolyAI’s daily legal and business operational matters, ensuring that PolyAI is running at 110%.
- Supporting the Head of Legal & Business Operations on all company transactions, assisting with ongoing negotiations, review and drafting of commercial agreements, working with/instructing external counsel as needed, and general internal and external stakeholder management.
- Partnering with every function across the business on a wide range of matters, risk-spotting and proactively identifying solutions aimed at eliminating or mitigating any perceived risks.
- Reviewing and/or drafting basic contracts, corporate documents (e.g. board resolutions) and policies, with support from the Head of Legal & Business Operations and other function Heads.
- Developing PolyAI’s customer success function, working closely with the Head of Legal & Business Operations and relevant internal stakeholders to ensure the ongoing excellence of each client deployment, monitoring relevant metrics, service levels and PolyAI’s obligations.
- Improving and designing internal workflows, conducting research into appropriate tools to eradicate inefficiencies and enable PolyAI’s growth, collaborating with PolyAI’s Revenue Operations teams as required.
- Supporting our Chief Operating Officer with the coordination and monitoring of PolyAI’s objectives and key results, and other strategic initiatives and projects.
- Assisting with general contract management, corporate governance and general administrative matters, including procurement and client-side vendor onboarding.
- Working closely with PolyAI’s compliance team on general compliance, risk and data protection and privacy matters
- Assisting with building internal knowledge resources and training initiatives.
What you’ll come with:
- Legal background preferred. Experience in working with commercial contracts will be considered a major plus!
- 5+ years experience working in either a fast-growing start-up/scale-up in a commercial or operational function or in a professional services background i.e. banking/consulting/law firm.
- Legal drafting ability would be a major plus (but at the very least, excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to tailor written work for a particular audience).
- Some awareness and/or experience of dealing with data protection/privacy matters and tech compliance processes (e.g. ISO 27001) would be useful.
