We’re hiring a Manager for Accounting Services!
About this position
Support the Director, Accounting & Reporting, and other accounting team members in all financial aspects of the business and ensure compliance with all Policies and Procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Work heavily with other departments to drive continuous improvement and to understand new system technologies to help lead the automation of accounting services as the company grows. Develops and controls all tasks necessary to accomplish the organization’s centralized accounting services objectives, including tax reporting and relationships with vendors, internal and external auditors, and state and federal agencies.

What you’ll do
- You lead, manage, and train the accounting services staff (AP, T&E, and Fixed Asset functions).
- You ensure the automation of accounting services occurs efficiently and accurately, as well as outline reports required by external and internal users to meet fiscal goals.
- You drive and lead standardization, simplification, and automation of the accounts payable and travel & expense processes.
- You are responsible for weekly accounts payable payments and manage the year-end process for 1099 reporting.
- You respond to employee questions related to expense reimbursements, credit cards, or AP policies.
- You are responsible for procedures that ensure internal control in accordance with COSO.
- You ensure that all policies are implemented and followed in accordance with the stipulated guidelines. You also propose new policies/programs and/or policy/program changes.
- You act as system administrator for T&E, AP, and Payroll GL systems.
You should have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- You have 3+ years of related experience with prior leadership experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Hands on experience in a fully integrated ERP operating system. US GAAP knowledge. Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage a large number of tasks and responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and growing environment. Effective, clear, and precise communication skills. Superior problem-solving skills. Prior experience with team management, including the annual review process.
