Requirements
  • Have a graduate degree from an accredited college or university in a generally recognized clinical discipline with a clinical practicum, or an equivalent degree from an evaluated foreign institution.
  • Alternatively, hold a license in a generally recognized clinical discipline that includes mental health clinical experience.
  • Maintain knowledge of community resources, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed and culturally competent care.
  • Complete required criminal, child abuse, and FBI clearances.
Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive therapeutic services to youth and their families.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments of consumers.
  • Use a strengths-based approach to identify problems and design an Individualized Treatment Plan with appropriate and reasonable goals.
  • Identify behavioral goals in measurable terms and select appropriate interventions for inclusion in the Individualized Treatment Plan.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret data to determine changes to goals and objectives in the Individualized Treatment Plan.
  • Provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.
  • Assist with crisis stabilization.
  • Submit monthly reports summarizing program status and outcomes.
  • Collect, report, and accurately compile outcome data in a timely manner.
  • Implement evidence-based practices with fidelity.
  • Review consumer files to ensure regulatory and funding standards are met and followed.
  • Serve as a liaison to adults across all areas of the child’s life.
  • Facilitate discharge planning and implement discharge plans.
  • Meet service productivity expectations.
  • Complete all paperwork within specified time frames.
  • Maintain an understanding of agency policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and adhere to an Individualized Training Plan.
  • Attend and participate in supervision in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to WES’s Code of Ethics and comply with the State Mental Health Code.
  • Ensure continuous quality assurance and program development.
  • Comply with WES standards for service delivery.
  • Maintain consumer confidentiality.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of community resources, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed and culturally competent care is preferred.
  • Bilingual ability is preferred.
